HOLA!

Well, I am enjoying the BEAUTIFUL weather here in Des Moines. The Lord surely is blessing us in His work. Hermana Draney and I have been hard at work finding new investigators, building up our less-actives and helping our members. I sure do love serving the people here in Des Moines! I am starting to see more and more the blessings of the Lord. And as Hermana Draney and I become more obedient we will also be able to see more miracles!

I don't think I was really ready to hear the news about Hoss. It really breaks my heart, but it gives me so much comfort to know that he is more than likely with Dad. Hoss was such a great dog! We will all miss him and his chill/playful personality very much in our home.

I want to share with you something that I learn this week. Heavenly Father is very much mindful of all of His children. I know that He is very aware of any trial, heartbreak, self-doubt, anything. "I will go before your face, I will be on your right hand and on your left, and my Spirit shall be in your hearts and mine angels round about you, to bear you up" D&C 84:88 I know that this is Gods truth. He is always ALWAYS there for us! :)

I am sorry this email is short, the computer kept freezing on me. And I WILL send pictures next week for sure!

I love you all so much! Thank you for your prayers, I can feel them. And thank you for your letters of love! :)

Love you always,forever,
Hermana Wadsworth

Hola Familia!
HOLY SMOKEY! It is so warm here right now it is ridiculous! It has been in the 80s this week. BAH! I am really curious to know if people are now swimming in AZ?! If it is this warm here, i am sure everyone else is burning up there.  But one the up side... the grass is growing nice and green and some trees are starting to bloom BEAUTIFUL blossoms. I am loving it! I love looking around at all the beautiful creations that the Lord has blessed us all with. I hope you all take time to look around you this week and enjoy the beautiful creations great and small all around us.

So much has been happening in Des Moines this past week! Hermana Draney and I am working hard. Almost every day this week (the reason why it was not every day is because Hna Draney was sick for 2 days and we had to stay in) we came home SO TIRED! BUT SO HAPPY  We have been going through our area book. I dont know if I have told you this before, but the area that we cover used to be 2 areas... West and East Des Moines, but now, we cover ALL OF DES MOINES! It is a little overwhelming at times, but we sure do love it! We have been checking up on former investigators, finding our less-actives and also strengthening our members. It sure is a lot of work, but it is the Lords work and he has concern for the one and Hermana Draney is a great example to me on being concerned for the one. We both seem so have the same attitude that President Monson has and that is to "Rescue".*random side note, if you have not read the article about President Monson in the Ensign this month yet, you need to! It changed my perspective of what a disciple of Jesus Christ should be like.*  I often think about Eden Park Ward and the leaders in that ward and for their attitude and determination to go out and find and lift those who need it. It is so very important that we reach out to everyone! That is showing that you are following the example of Jesus Christ.

We had a couple really good first lessons with some investigators! Both of which we invited them to be baptized! We are both so excited for them. I will let you know when we have dates set for them. Both of those lessons were so good! We had the Holy Ghost with us and I really felt that we were able to help them the best that we could.  I love seeing changes in people!

I hope that you all are doing really good and know that I am praying for you and love you all so very much! I love being a missionary and bringing others closer to Christ. I sure am looking forward to General Conference ! I am going to try something that I have not done... I am going to write down questions that I have and while I am listening to General Conference listening for those answers. I hope that we all will do that this Conference! I cannot wait to listen to our Prophet. :)

I love you all so much and I hope you had a great week! :)

HOLA MI FAMILIA!

As you all know, transfers was this past week and i had to say goodbye to my good trainer, Hermana Rials. She is now serving in Mount Pleasant with Hermana Baird! Isnt that really fun?! Well, I have also been blessed with being companions with her companion from the MTC, Hermana Draney! She is an excellent missionary and we are both already starting to work really hard in Des Moines! It is really fun, i am having a blast!

We already have set many goals for the next 2 transfers we will have together. We both really feel that Des Moines is going to blossom and we are really excited for this! We decided that we are going to start sacrificing even more! For example, no more songs that are not sung by MoTab! And we also have little things we have to do if we get an inappropriate song in our head, or even if we sing it out loud. For example, whenever we get a song in our head that is not MoTab, we just need to start singing a Hymn. But, if we start singing it out loud, we have to sing 2 verses to a Hymn while doing crunches! So, this morning we both did our crunches! AH! It is really good though because i really feel it is going to work and before we know it, we will only be thinking about good encouraging songs that invite the Spirit and we will always be worthy to have it with us! I have truly been learning lately that sacrifice brings forth the blessings of Heaven. On Saturday, we were checking up on some former investigators and we actually met this cute old man standing outside his home enjoying the nice spring weather! (Which by the way, the weather is GORGEOUS here right now!) Well, we ended up talking to him for a little bit outside and then he invited us in where we met his adorable wife. We shared a scripture with them and set up a return appointment. It was such a blessing from the Lord that we got into his home. I know it sounds silly and like such a small thing, but they are both super sweet and i feel like, they are prepared to learn about the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

OK, I am sure you would love to hear a little bit more about my companion! She is from Wyoming and she is the only child! So, Mom, I hope you dont mind adopting another girl into our family. :) We have a lot of fun together! She has really long pretty hair, she is a little taller then Hermana Rials. This is her favorite get-to-know-you question: If you could compare yourself to a fruit or a veggie, what would it be and why? With her, she would be a artichoke (we LOVE artichokes in our home, therefore we love her) because she has a lot of yummy layers and it takes a little work to get to her heart. :) She is so funny! We both share a lot for eating apples and peanut butter as well as bananas and peanut butter. We love being Goofy! We both love the color blue!  If she would marry anyone in the Book of Mormon, it would be Captain Moroni! I dont blame her because he is a big deal and he is great with leading, especially teenage boys!

I am so excited for this transfer, REALLY EXCITED! It is going to be so good and we are praying for and working for all the miracles! :)
Hopefully you all got that... sorry, i dont know how to put little accents above the words and i might have spelt a few things wrong.

I love you all! I pray that the Lord will bless you in all that you do! Thank you for your letters! Hopefully next week i will attach some pictures :)

LOVE LOVE LOVE.... HUGS HUGS HUGS!!!!!!! XOXOXOXOXOXOXOXO

Hello Wonder Family!

Time sure flies when you are on the Lord's Errand and having fun! I cannot believe that it has almost been 5 months since I first left to the MTC... CRAZY! I am loving my time here. I do have some pretty exciting news: I AM STAYING IN DES MOINES! Hermana Rials will be leaving me which is really sad, but I am ready to spread my wings a little bit. I cannot wait to let you know who my new companion is going to be. Change is so great! I love change! I feel the Lord is really blessing me with being in Des Moines since it is the only area that is completely Spanish in the mission. I love the people so much here! Hermana Rials has been in this area for about 7.5 months  and knows the members really well and has a good relationship with them so i sure do hope that the transition will be a good one.  Hermana Rials and I the last few days have been crAZy busy with appointments with our members so that she would be able to say goodbye to them and stuff... haha! It has been really good though because i have been speaking and hearing spanish for hours on end. The other day when we can home i honestly felt like my head was going to explode! Haha! I really do enjoy speaking spanish though.

Yesterday was so WARM! Oh my... 75 degrees was the highest it got! And today it is cloudy, with a little rain and it is 65 degrees. We sure are LOVING this weather, but we are also a little nervous just because... well, it is March and there have been tornado's in 5 different states and they are all right by Iowa.  I was thinking the other day about when I lived in Colorado and I am pretty sure there was more snowfall there then we have experienced here. haha! Not normal at all! But I am still going to enjoy the weather!

HOLY COW! I almost forgot to mention... today, Hermana Rials and I went down to the basement to do our laundry. So i put all of our clothes into the washer and right when I was done loading it, Hermana Rials *GASPED* really loud and stepped away for the washer.... I looked down and about 6 inches from my feet was a BAT! AH! So, we went and told our landlord and apparently that bat, it is a fruit bat, keeps getting back into the building all the time and they cannot kill it because it is endangered here in Iowa. I am sorry, I do not have a picture of it... i really should have. Mer.

Right now I am reading through the Book of Mormon and currently I am in Alma. I read about Ammon! OH man! He is one of my FAVORITES EVER! He was such a great missionary! So very bold and not afraid of anything. So, the specific part I wanted to share is when one of the Lamenites went to slay Ammon, but then the man fell dead. That is because when the Lord makes a promise to His faithful children He will protect them! How great is that! The Lord promised Mosiah that He would protect his sons according to His faith. It is such a great story! (Alma 19... you should read it!)

So I believe I told you all in the last email that i sent about all of our investigators that we are teaching, well this past week a couple slipped through our fingers, but we will be picking them back up again this next week! Everything really is on the Lord's timing, and  i am learning more and more each day to trust Him with all that i do.

I sure do love you all and hope you are all having a great week! I will write you all on Monday and let you know who my new comp is. :)

> We asked David to pray and this is how it went:
> "Heavenly Father,

> In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen."
> SWEETEST PRAYER EVER! It made Hna Rials and I feel so good to know
